Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) ▼

How does GTA V run directly in a web browser?

The game client is compiled to WebAssembly (WASM) with a WebGPU/WebGL translation layer for the RAGE engine renderer, allowing Los Santos to render seamlessly in real-time inside your browser sandbox.

Why does my mouse pointer disappear?

First-person and third-person camera controls use the HTML5 Pointer Lock API to capture 360-degree mouse movement. Press Esc on your keyboard at any time to regain your browser cursor.

Experiencing stutter or low frame rate?

Make sure "Hardware Acceleration" is enabled in your browser settings (Settings > System > Use graphics acceleration when available) and close background tabs consuming VRAM.
